eadership—like many other aspects of management—is about balancing choices to achieve defined goals. Participants will be provided with a simple, yet extensive framework for their leadership tasks, and will explore central ideas of leadership in an interactive mix of discussions and exercises.

  • Professionals from all sectors (public, private, and from NGOs)
  • The course is aimed at professionals who would like to prepare for future leadership roles as well as for leaders who are (or still feel) new in their leadership role. Participants are encouraged to contribute cases from their own experience to receive relevant and practical feedback.

  • Higher education degree
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience (average is ten years)
  • Good knowledge of English

NB: This course can also be completed as part of the Certificate programmes and the Hertie School Leadership Programme.
