Inspiring biomedical trainers
As learning professionals working in the biomedical sciences, we have a doubly difficult challenge: we need to stay at the forefront of our own discipline and we also have to keep up with the latest advances in education and training. Many of us are subject-matter experts first and foremost: we train others because we have expertise (sometimes unique to an individual) that we want to share. We are wrestling with new challenges in education and training - such as how to deliver effective elearning courses, how to create courses suitable for busy professionals and how to adapt to an environment in which training materials are created collaboratively and placed in the public domain. This resource is here to help you navigate your way through these issues and continue to develop your training skills.
